A Case of the Large Osteoma of Maxillary Sinus

Abstract

|
A 18 years old female was admitted on Jan. 13, 1964, who had complaind of painless and slowly growing swelling of the left cheek for past 3 years. X-ray study revealed that a opaque glove-like mass with sharp margin occupied the left entire maxillary bone. On Jan. 15, the mass was removed by the external approach under general anesthesia. The post operative course was satisfactory. The microscopical examination of the mass showed dense osteoma, and its osteoma was 220.6 gm.
